Lance has been in the HVAC industry for 26 years as an installer and service technician on the residential, commercial, and industrial sides of the business. For the last nine years, Lance has been with the O’Connor company as technical support and trainer.

Richard Williams

FSR – Oklahoma City

Richard Williams has over 37 years of HVAC industry experience working in a number of roles including technician and field service representative for Trane and is currently a field service representative (FSR) for the O’Connor Company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Richard has his Texas Air Conditioning Contractors License as well as NATE Certifications. He has also been a member of RSES since 1987.

Ryan Cartwright

Specialty Product Manager – Omaha/Urbandale

Ryan has over 18 years of experience working in the HVAC/R industry. He helps our clients connect the most efficient equipment available to their projects. He enjoys the many facets related to the design, selling, installing, servicing, and training of all HVAC equipment. Ryan is fortunate to have gained much of his experience with Residential and Light Commercial Geothermal applications along with many other technologies in our Midwest markets. This includes Ductless/VRF, Hi-Velocity, Refrigeration, Duct Design, Radiant Floors, Boilers, Tube Heaters, and Standard Forced-Air HVAC/R Systems.

Patrick Fetters

FRS - Lenexa/Lee’s Summit

Patrick has been in the HVAC industry for 23 years as an installer and service technician in the residential and commercial sides. Patrick has his Master's mechanical license, NATE Certifications, and backup generator certifications. His area of expertise is troubleshooting and designing applications of HVAC equipment.

Dave Ellenberger

FSR – Omaha/Urbandale

Dave’s background has been primarily in HVAC service over the last 30 plus years. He also has some install experience and the most recent is the commercial sales experience. Dave’s education started with Metro Tech back in the mid-1980s while doing Apartment maintenance. From there he expanded into the HVAC field and had a combined 24 years at a large company in Omaha and was their service manager for 13 of those years with service techs in both commercial and residential departments. His portfolio also included working with the Commercial Trane office where he had an opportunity to expand his knowledge and get a taste of the large tonnage chillers and RTU’s, and then to another local company as a commercial account manager and equipment sales.
Dave has successfully maintained his relationships with customers and technicians over the years. Dave started at O’Connor in January of 2017 as one of their Technical Support Specialist and Trainer. Dave has his Omaha, Bellevue, and Council Bluffs, Journeyman License and enjoys educating others on the old and new industry training expectations, standards, and products. Included in this are continuing education hours for the Nebraska and Iowa HVAC licenses, consisting of discipline, code, and safety. Dave also has his certificates for OSHA 501 and 511.

Chris Cotter

Ductless- VRF Geothermal Territory Manager – Lenexa/Lee’s Summit

Chris Cotter has been in the HVAC industry for over 27 years. He attended Pittsburg State University earning his AAS in HVAC along with his BSBM. Chris worked for a commercial HVAC company where he developed a passion for becoming a leader within the industry. In 1998 Chris put his focus towards the Geothermal side of his area of expertise through working as a field service supervisor and project manager.
After 13 years Chris opened his own HVAC company carrying his reputation under Cotter Heating and Cooling Inc. With energy efficiency being his focus, he also gained many accredited certifications and awards from multiple Ductless, VRF, and Geothermal manufacturers. In 2018, with Chris’s focus and expertise being the conservation of energy usage within the HVAC industry, Chris started an additional company called HVAC Concept Solutions. It was developed to offer customers his services of consultation, design, and engineering of energy-efficient HVAC systems. Chris has worked in every position within the industry. Chris will continue offering his innovative ideas and being an advocate for the industry through his employment with the O’Connor Company.

Fred Simpson

FSR – Wichita

Fred has been in the HVAC/R industry since 1982. He was a service technician for 27 of those years as a residential, commercial, and industrial journeyman technician. In 2010, Fred was appointed as a commercial equipment and control integration regional service manager and corporate trainer. Since 2010, Fred has served as a technical support specialist, technical trainer, service engineer, design and application engineer for both the residential and commercial HVAC equipment at the factory level and in distribution. Fred is NATE certified as well as a member of ASHRAE.

Clint Carter

DSG - Product Specialist


Clint has worked over 29 years in HVAC industry working in many different roles from Sheet Metal installer to General Manager of a business.
Clint has been with the O'Connor Company for the last eight years primary focusing on ductless - development, service, application and teaching classes.

Charles Wilkerson

Training Manager, Lenexa/Lee’s Summit

Charles Wilkerson has been in the HVAC industry for 30 years. Starting out as a maintenance technician and working his way to lead technician. Charles found a passion in education and training for the HVAC industry where he became an instructor for a local community college. During that time Charles was able to build heating and cooling training programs from the ground up. He recognized the need for Training and Support in the Field.
Following education, Charles became a General Manager of a small heating and cooling company where he was faced with the same training and support needs that most dealers face. Charles is committed to bringing education, training, and support to the next generation of service technicians through his employment with the O’Connor company.
